James White is a former American football running back for both the Chicago Bears and the New England Patriots. In his four seasons with the Bears, he rushed for 2,935 yards, which was second most all time by a running back in Bears history. He also caught a team record with seven touchdown passes and was named first team All Pro by the Associated Press. He also earned his first career Pro Bowl selection. White then signed with the Patriots, where he is still active in today’s game.
Born in San Diego, California, White is the grandson of two-time Super Bowl champion Ronnie “the Bull” McNair. Growing up as a fan of the Chargers, the San Diego native played football throughout his childhood.
